Hair and makeup trials are an important part of achieving your desired look for your big day. It’s a time to meet and create a relationship with your stylist, define your unique style, and really begin to envision what you will look like on your special day!

Where and When Can I Have my Trial?
-Trials may be held at a client's home, or my at-home-studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
How Can I Plan for my Trial?
-Please provide me with a picture of yourself in daylight and of your hair and/or makeup inspiration photos prior to your appointment. This will help me better prepare for the appointment and ensure you’re happy with the end result. If you’re torn between a few looks, don’t worry! I will help you finalize a look that fits your style during your appointment. For bridal trials, it is helpful to wear a white or light colored top to resemble your wedding dress.
What Should I Bring?
- If you have a specific makeup product that you want to use for your wedding, for example, a specific blush or lipstick, please bring those. If you have allergies to certain makeup brands or makeup ingredients, please let me know in advance. *I do not carry any brands that test on animals*
How Can I Pay?
Trial payments are made at the time of booking. Payments can be made by PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, or credit card via the Square app. Please note that a trial is not confirmed until a payment is received.
How Long Will It Take?
-Each application takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Trial price includes two full hours of time to apply, chat, and make any changes needed.
Should I Come With a Clean Face for my Makeup Trial?
-You can come with a clean face or wear your usual makeup to give me an idea of your makeup preferences. It’s totally up to you! I will prep your skin with moisturizer and primer, so no need to bring those items.
Can I Try Different Looks?
-I recommend that you choose your favorite makeup look for your appointment. I am happy to make some adjustments to the makeup during the trial based on your feedback. If you want to start a new and completely different look from scratch after the first two hours, I charge $50 for every extra hour after.
Will You Be Taking Pictures at the Trial?
-I try to snap a before and after picture at the trial to capture your transformation, and am happy to send you a copy of the pictures. I use these for my reference and to add to my portfolio of work.
Can I Reserve my Wedding Date at the Trial?
-If you’re happy with your trial and want to move forward with booking your date, I will need a completed and signed Contract in addition to a deposit of 50% of your wedding day total.
What are the fees regarding Bridal Shoots?
-Bridal Shoots are treated the same as bridal trials, and the same rates and fees apply.
